The Japanese-Brazilian artist Tomie Ohtake was always a color lover and when she arrived in Brazil in 1936 she quickly found the home of her dream in Sao Paulo.

The 8,000 SqFt (750m²) property is a real concrete sculpture, where the grey monochrome is precisely designed to highlight the hundreds of colorful artworks she made or own. Outside, the minimalist lines of the house extend into the lush garden, composed of tropical species and a good collection of sculptures.
